In the Save log you either type in or use the Browse button to find the directory in which you want FFS to save the log to. I hope that helps.

Hi I launch Freefilesync from Task Scheduler in Windows 10 Entreprise. Usually I have a log file generated (by Freefilesync) where I can look for errors.

The default log file path was /home/pete/.config/FreeFileSync/Logs, I was looking in the main FFS folder which is /home/pete/FreeFileSync.

FFS always logs its sync activity in the file C:-Users-%UserName%-AppData-Roaming-FreeFileSync-LastSyncs.log with recent activity on top.

FreeFileSync always writes a logfile when running in silent mode. But you can select the directory where those logs are stored.

I'm using FreeFileSync with an VBS script that is parsing the log file for error events. Since the log files are in HTML format, this isn't possible anymore.

You can export the visible Compare results in the FFS GUI via Tools / Export file list. A log file is only created when performing the actual Sync.
